NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF PROPOSED TARIFFS

 

November 18, 2022

[1] In accordance with section 68.2 of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board hereby publishes the proposed tariffs listed in the Annex below. The Board also publishes the Notices of Grounds of Proposed Tariffs filed by the collective societies as per Practice Notice 2022-006. These documents are published as filed.

[2] By that same section, the Copyright Board hereby gives notice to any user or their representatives who wish to object to these proposed tariffs that they must file objections with the Board, no later than the 30th day after the day on which the Board publishes the proposed tariffs, that is no later than December 19, 2022.

[3] Furthermore, in accordance with Practice Notice 2022-007, any user or their representative that files an objection to any of the proposed tariffs is required to file a Notice of Grounds for Objection no later than the 60th day after the day on which the Board publishes the proposed tariffs, that is no later than January 17, 2023.

[4] Objections must be filed using the form on the Board’s website. Should their Notice of Grounds for Objection be ready at the time of filing their objections, objectors can submit their documents using the form as well. After December 19, 2022, Notices of Grounds should be filed by email to registry-greffe@cb-cda.gc.ca.

[5] Questions about the filing of objections or Notices of Grounds for Objection should be addressed to registry-greffe@cb-cda.gc.ca.
