  • [1] On May 12, 2023, SOCAN wrote to the Board requesting a one-week extension to respond to the comments made by Pandora and SiriusXM following Rulings CB-CDA 2023-021 and CB-CDA 2023-023. It offered two reasons for this request. First, the submissions were lengthy, including numerous legal authorities. Second, the submissions raised issues not related to the statutory criteria.

  • [2] SOCAN’s request is granted. SOCAN shall file its responses no later than Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
