NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF PROPOSED TARIFFS

November 15, 2023

[1] In accordance with section 68.2 and subsection 83(5) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board hereby publishes all proposed tariffs filed by October 16, 2023. These are listed in the Annex. The Board also publishes, as per subsection 17(2) of the Copyright Board Rules of Practice and Procedures, the notices of grounds for the proposed tariffs and the comparative documents as filed by the collective societies.

[2] The Board hereby gives notice to any user or their representatives who wish to object to these proposed tariffs that they must file objections with the Board, no later than the 30th day after the day on which the Board publishes the proposed tariffs, that is no later than Friday, December 15, 2023.

[3] Furthermore, in accordance with section 18 of the Rules, any user or their representative that files an objection to any of the proposed tariffs is also required to file a notice of grounds for objection. Additional information on the requirements for the notices of grounds for objection can be found in the Board’s Practice Notice on Filing of Grounds for Objection [PN 2022-007 rev. 1].

[4] Objections and notices of grounds for objections must be filed using the form on the Board’s website.
