[CB-CDA 2024-014] NOTICE OF THE BOARD Proceeding: SOCAN Tariff 22.D.3 – Online Allied Services (2014-2023) February 19, 2024 On January 31, 2024, SOCAN, along with the CAB and a group of BDUs (together, the “Withdrawn Objectors”) filed a revised text and additional submissions as requested in Order CB-CDA 2023-067.
The Board is now ready to conclude its written hearing process in the consideration of the following proposed tariffs, including the portions identified below, that are part of the SOCAN Tariff 22.D.3 proceeding for the years 2014 to 2023:
• SOCAN Tariff 22.D (2014, 2015) [as applicable to AV allied services] • SOCAN Tariff 22.D.1 (2016, 2017, 2018) [as applicable to AV allied services] • SOCAN Tariff 22.D.3 (2019-2020, 2021-2023)
At this time, the Board does not have any further questions to address to SOCAN or the Withdrawn Objectors. For the purpose of calculating the 12 month period referred to in Section 2(a) of the Time Limits in Respect of Matters Before the Copyright Board Regulations, the Board hereby fixes the date for filing final written submissions to Monday, March 18, 2024.
