NOTICE OF THE BOARD

 

Proceeding: SOCAN Tariff 22.E – Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018)

October 22, 2024

 

[1] On January 25, 2023, SOCAN and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) filed a jointly-submitted text (“JST”) and requested that the Board approve the proposed tariff SOCAN 22.E – Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for the years 2014 to 2018 based on the JST.

[2] The Board is now ready to conclude its hearing process in the consideration of the above-mentioned tariffs.

[3] At this time, the Board does not have any questions to address to the parties. For the purpose of calculating the 12 month period referred to in Section 2(a) of the Time Limits in Respect of Matters Before the Copyright Board Regulations, the Board hereby fixes the date for filing final written submissions to Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
