NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF PROPOSED TARIFFS

November 15, 2024

[1] In accordance with section 68.2 of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board publishes today all proposed tariffs filed in 2024 on its website. The list of proposed tariffs being published can be found in the Annex. The Board also publishes, as per subsection 17(2) of the Copyright Board Rules of Practice and Procedures, the notices of grounds for the proposed tariffs and the comparative documents as filed by the collective societies.

[2] The Board gives notice to persons affected by the proposed tariffs that any objection to a proposed tariff must be filed with the Board no later than Monday, December 16, 2024.

[3] In addition, in accordance with section 18 of the Rules, a person that objects to a proposed tariff must file a notice of grounds for objection. Additional information regarding the filing of a notice of grounds for objection can be found in the Board’s Practice Notice on Filing a Notice of Grounds for Objection [PN 2022-007 rev. 2].

[4] Objections and notices of grounds for objections must be filed using the form on the Board’s website.
