ORDER OF THE BOARD

 

Matter: SOCAN Tariff 6 – Motion Picture Theatres for the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020-2021 and 2022-2024

May 27, 2024

 

[1] On February 29, 2024, in response to Order CB-CDA 2023-064, the Parties informed the Board that they exchanged further information and proposals that appear to be bringing them closer to settlement, particularly on the key issue of royalties.

[2] The Parties requested a further three-month extension to the suspension period with the goal of achieving an agreement in principle on the royalties.

[3] The Parties’ request is granted. Parties shall report back to the Board by Friday, May 31, 2024.
