NOTICE OF THE BOARD

 

Matter: SOCAN Tariff 2.D – Television - Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (2015-2025)

 

December 20, 2024

[1] On November 1, 2024, in Order CB-CDA 2024-087, I advised the Parties that SOCAN Tariff 2.D (2015-2025), will be examined through a separate proceeding.

[2] I note that the Parties jointly wrote to the Board on August 22, 2022, stating that they “agree that it will be more efficient to consider the entire effective period for all tariffs”.

[3] In keeping with this approach, I would ask the parties to provide comments on whether the proposed tariff for 2026-2028, filed by SOCAN on October 15, 2024, should be considered together with the proposed tariffs for the years 2015-2025, no later than Friday, January 10, 2025.
