NOTICE OF THE BOARD
Proceeding: 71-2023-01 Totem Médias Inc. v CONNECT Music Licensing Service Inc.

[1] On June 23, 2025, the Board issued Notice CB-CDA 2025-045, allowing external counsel to review the confidentiality designations. Later that same day, Totem wrote to the Board, requesting that Totem itself—as opposed to its external counsel— be allowed to review the confidentiality designations.
[2] Member Martineau is not available at this time, however, this request will be brought to his attention as soon as possible upon his return, expected after July 1, 2025.
[3] In the request, Totem stated that “all of the information that has been designated as confidential is information which was either provided by Totem or is information of which Totem is already aware.”
[4] CONNECT is invited to respond to Totem’s request by the Member’s return, as this will expedite consideration.
[5] Given this delay, the deadline for commenting on the designation of information in Notice CB-CDA 2024-045 is suspended.
