FILE: 2003-UO-TI-13 UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNER Non-exclusive licence issued to John Hillman, Montreal, Quebec, authorizing the use of a musical work composed by George Adams Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board grants a licence to John Hillman as follows: (1) The licence authorizes the mechanical reproduction of the musical composition entitled Intentions written by George Adams (1940-1992) recorded in 1979 and released on two records: All That Funk, Palcoscenico PAL 15002 (Italy, LP - 1980) and Paradise Space Shuttle, Timeless CD SJP 127 (CD - 1989). No more than 500 copies of the work will be reproduced. The issuance of the licence does not release the applicant from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence. (2) The licence expires on December 31, 2003. The authorized reproduction must therefore be completed by that date. (3) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies. (4) The sole use of the musical work will be the mechanical reproduction on CD or cassette and will not be reproduced in any derivative form or otherwise. (5) Mr. Jim Hillman will pay the sum of $53.90 to the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency (CMRRA), who will dispose of the amount as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members. CMRRA undertakes to reimburse any person who establishes, before December 31, 2008 ownership of the copyright in the work covered by this licence.

(6) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the filing with the Board of a receipt from CMRRA for the amount of the royalty specified in the licence, accompanied by CMRRA's undertaking to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (4) above.
