Copyright Board Commission du droit d’auteur Canada Canada [TRANSLATION] Ottawa, August 23, 2006 FILE 2006-UO/TI-34 UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNERS Non-exclusive licence issued to André Breault, Ottawa, Ontario, authorizing the reproduction of architectural plans

Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board issues a licence to André Breault as follows:

(1) The licence authorizes the reproduction of a copy—for consultation, archiving and renovation purposes—of modification plans produced in 1974 (draftsperson unknown Permit No. 76022 issued by the City of Ottawa on February 18, 1974) for the property located at 499 Lyon Street in Ottawa, Ontario.

The issuance of this licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

(2) The licence expires on September 30, 2006. Any authorized reproduction must therefore be completed by that date.

(3) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

(4) The licensee will pay the sum of $25 to any person who establishes, before September 30, 2011, ownership of the copyright in the work covered by this licence.

(5) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the filing with the Board of an undertaking by the licensee to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (4) above.
