Non-exclusive licence issued to Barbara Deanne Cobb-Zygadlo, Calgary, Alberta, authorizing the reproduction of six images in a Masters thesis

Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board grants a licence to Barbara Deanne Cobb-Zygadlo, as follows:

(1) The licence authorizes the reproduction of six images of aliens (source unknown) in the appendices of the licensee's Masters thesis titled “Focus on Targeted Forms in Beginner German as a Second Language Learners’ Synchronous Computer-Mediated Communication”.

No more than five copies of the works will be reproduced.

The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

(2) The licence expires on April 30, 2009.

(3) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

(4) The licensee will pay the sum of $25 to any person who establishes, before April 30, 2014 ownership of the copyright in the works covered in this licence.

(5) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the licensee filing with the Board her undertaking to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (4) above.
