Copyright Board Commission du droit d’auteur Canada Canada [TRANSLATION] Ottawa, May 23, 2013 FILE 2013-UO/IT 08 UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNER Non-exclusive licence issued to Éditions du Quartz, Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, authorizing the reproduction, republication and distribution on hard copy of the text in a book

Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board of Canada grants a licence to Éditions du Quartz, as follows:

(1) The licence authorizes the reproduction, republication and distribution on hard copy of the text in the literary work entitled Mon deuxième livre de lecture by Marguerite Forest and Madeleine Ouimet published by Éditions Granger et frères in 1959.

(2) The number of copies shall not exceed 1,000 copies. (3) The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other uses not covered by this licence.

(4) The licence expires on May 31, 2018. (5) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For any other country, it is the law of that country that applies.

(6) The licensee shall clearly state the bibliographic reference for the work used in accordance with standard conventions: title of the work, author, publisher, place and date of publication.

(7) The licensee shall pay the Société québécoise de gestion collective des droits de reproduction (COPIBEC) an initial sum of $199.50 for the first 100 copies printed and 10% of the retail sale price of each copy. The payments to COPIBEC shall be accompanied by an annual sales report of sales made in the previous 12 months, to be provided between April 1 and April 30 of each year. COPIBEC may dispose of the royalties fixed by the license as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members. COPIBEC undertakes, however, to reimburse any person who, by May 31, 2023, establishes ownership of the copyright in any of the works covered by this licence.

- 2 - (8) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on COPIBEC filing with the Board a Notice of Receipt of Payment in which it undertakes to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (7).
