Copyright Board Commission du droit d’auteur Canada Canada [TRANSLATION] Ottawa, March 20, 2000 FILE 2000-UO/TI-4 UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNERS Non-exclusive licence issued to Les Éditions Triptyque, Montréal, Quebec, authorizing the production and publication of a translation of a work by Juan Butler

Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act, the Copyright Board issues a licence to Les Éditions Triptyque, as follows:

(1) The licence authorizes the production and publication of a translation of a work by Juan Butler entitled Cabbagetown Diary: A Documentary published by Peter Martin Associates Limited in 1970.

No more than 800 copies shall be produced. (2) The licence expires on December 31, 2000. The authorized acts must be completed by this date.

(3) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. (4) Les Éditions Triptyque will pay $400 to Société de gestion collective des droits de reproduction (COPIBEC), which may dispose of this amount as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members. COPIBEC undertakes, however, to reimburse any person who establishes, before December 31, 2013, ownership of the copyright of the work covered by this licence.

(5) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on COPIBEC filing with the Board the receipt for the amount of royalties set in the licence, accompanied by an undertaking by COPIBEC to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (4) above.
