Copyright Board Canada [TRANSLATION]

File : 2018-UO/TI-21Groupe Innovamber Inc. Ms. Berrekia : The Copyright Board has reviewed your licence application filed on July 26, 2018 and has determined, for the following reasons, that a licence is not required for the reproduction of the literary work that you wish to reproduce:

1. The work Aus den letzten Jahren der Kaiserin Elisabeth by Countess Irma Sztaray has been published in 1909; 2. The Copyright Act provides that copyright for literary works subsists for the duration of the author’s life, be the life of the author, the remainder of the calendar year in which the author dies, and a period of fifty years following the end of that calendar year (sec. 6 LR (1985), ch. C-42); 3. The author passed away more than 78 years ago, in 1940; 4. The work has been part of the public domain since January 1, 1991.

Sincerely

Gilles McDougall Secretary General
