Ottawa, October 18, 2023 Non-exclusive licence issued to Conseil du statut de la femme, Québec, Quebec, pursuant to subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act
The licence authorizes the reproduction and exhibition in public of the text and illustrations on pages 10 and 49 of the book Mon deuxième livre de lecture by Marguerite Forest and Madeleine Ouimet published by Éditions Granger et frères in 1941, illustrations by Jean-Charles Faucher.
The licence is valid from April 1 st , 2023 to March 31, 2033. The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.
The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.
The licensee will pay the sum of ten dollars ($10) to anybody who establishes, before March 31, 2038, ownership of the written work covered in this licence.
The licensee will pay the sum of ten dollars ($10) to anybody who establishes, before March 31, 2038, ownership of the artistic works covered in this licence.
The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the licensee filing with the Board a notice of undertaking to comply with the conditions set out in paragraphs (5) and (6) above.
