UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNER FILE 2023-UO/TI-26

Ottawa, February 28, 2024

Non-exclusive licence issued to Danny Leroux, Châteauguay, Quebec pursuant to subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act

This licence authorizes i) the making of 500 copies by mechanical reproduction onto CDs, and ii) the distribution of CDs, by transfer of ownership, by sale or otherwise, of the musical work Chanson pour maman. The licence expires on February 28, 2034. The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

The licensee will pay the sum of forty-eight dollars ($48) to the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN), who may dispose of the amount as it sees fit for the general benefit of its members. SOCAN undertakes to reimburse any person, who establishes, before February 28, 2039, ownership of the copyright in the work covered in this licence.

The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the licensee paying to SOCAN the amounts fixed in this licence.
