UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNER FILE 2024-UO/TI-02 Ottawa, August 22, 2024 Non-exclusive licence issued to Gilles Ouellet, Quebec (Quebec) authorizing the reproduction of a booklet and comical opera titled Le Fétiche pursuant to subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act

The licence authorizes the reproduction of the poem created by Antonio Langlais (1886-1977) within the booklet of the comical opera titled Le Fétiche. The remainder of the booklet created by Alexandre Plante (1885-1916) as well as the musical partitions created by Joseph Vézina (1849-1924) are in the public domain. This comical opera, as a whole, was published in 1912 and the licensee intends to use the work and make it available for rent for opera houses or lyric production companies interested in staging or performing this comical opera.

There are no limits imposed as to the number of copies that can be reproduced. The licence is valid from April 11 th , 2024 to April 11 th , 2039. The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

The licensee will pay the sum of 10% of earned income to anybody who establishes, before April 11 th , 2044, ownership of the copyright in the work covered in this licence.

The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the licensee filing with the Board a notice of undertaking to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (6).
