UNLOCATABLE COPYRIGHT OWNER FILE 2024-UO/TI-11 Ottawa, January 8, 2025 Non-exclusive licence issued to Free Agency Creative, Vancouver, British Columbia, pursuant to subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act

The licence authorizes, with respect to the postcard View of Howe Sound and Squamish from Garibaldi Park1, the following acts:

The reproduction, communication and exhibition in public of the postcard in the Oceanfront Squamish community information center;

The reproduction and communication to the public of the postcard in a printed brochure (1/6 th of a page) illustrating the history of Howe Sound; and

The digital reproduction and communication to the public by telecommunication of the postcard on the community center’s website.

The licence is valid from March 31, 2025, to March 31, 2030. The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

The licence is valid only to the extent that the work is not already in the public domain. The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

The licensee will pay the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25) to anybody who establishes, before March 31, 2035, ownership of the copyright in the work covered in this licence.

The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the licensee filing with the Board a notice of undertaking to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (6).
