Section 77 Application – Work for Which the Copyright Owner is Unlocatable
Licence
Non-exclusive licence issued to Vrinda Gold, Ottawa, Ontario pursuant to subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act
(1) The licence authorizes, for the above-described works, the following rights: to produce, reproduce, and publish four physical punch needle rug patterns (styles 850, 851, 880, 881), including the front of their original packaging, manufactured by Wizkits Canada Inc.
(2) The licence authorizes 500 digital copies of each style of rug pattern, for a total of 2,000 combined copies.
(3) The licence expires on March 2, 2036.
(4) The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.
(5) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.
(6) The licensee will pay the sum of 10% of income earned from the uses authorized in the licence to anybody who establishes, before March 2, 2041, ownership of the copyright in the work covered in this licence.
(7) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the licensee filing with the Board a notice of undertaking to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (6).
