Section 77 Application – Work for Which the Copyright Owner is Unlocatable

Licence

Non-exclusive licence issued to Charles Feldman, Edinburgh, Scotland, pursuant to subsection 77(1) of the Copyright Act

(1) The licence authorizes the production, the reproduction, the performance , including the communication to the public by telecommunication, and the publication of the above-described works in the book Il était une fois au parlement published by the University of Toronto Press.

(2) The licence authorizes 500 print copies and 500 digital copies of each work.

(3) The licence expires on March 30, 2031.

(4) The issuance of the licence does not release the licensee from the obligation to obtain permission for any other use not covered by this licence.

(5) The licence is non-exclusive and valid only in Canada. For other countries, it is the law of that country that applies.

(6) The licensee will pay the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25) for each work to anybody who establishes, before March 30, 2036, ownership of the copyright in any of the five works covered in this licence.

(7) The coming into force of this licence is conditional on the licensee filing with the Board a notice of undertaking to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph (6).
