[1] On December 20, 2024, SOCAN requested that the deadline to confirm whether the Parties have reached an agreement on a repertoire-use study be extended to January 17, 2025. SOCAN stated that it appreciates “the Board’s comments in Ruling CB-CDA 2024-100 about the timing for the completion of a possible repertoire study,” but reiterated that there are “novel and complex questions associated with such a study.”

[2] The request is granted. If the Parties are unable to confirm by Friday, January 17, 2025, that they have reached such an agreement, then they will file with the Board, for the Panel’s consideration:

· by Wednesday, February 5, 2025, submissions on whether the Board should order a repertoire-use study, and the appropriate parameters of such a study; and

· by Wednesday, February 12, 2025, replies to any submissions.
